SW NSC/CPOs/PAC-TAC

The Southwest Neighborhood Service Center (NSC) is located at 923 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY 14611, Reception Desk Phone (585) 428-7630.  Receptionist: Isheka Banks, Under Administrator James H. Demps III the NSC provides a variety of City of Rochester services through a Quadrant Team to the seven neighborhoods of the SW Quadrant:  Cornhill , Plymouth Exchange (PLEX) , Neighborhoods United , 19th Ward  , SWAN , Changing of The Scenes (COTS) and now the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood which has been switched from the NW to SW Quadrants.  

Crime Preventions Officers (CPO's) provide RPD services to the neighborhoods under Lieutenant Bob Hill .

PAC-TAC (Police And Citizens Together Against Crime) is coordinated by CPO's Carl Dickerson , Andy DiMaria.  Citizens who have completed PAC-TAC training provided by the CPO's can go out in groups of two or more with police radios for 2 hour walks at times of their choosing.  There are also Saturation Walks which anyone can participate in, even if they have not received training.  People who show up the evening of the walk will go out with one or two Officers for a two hour walk.  These walks had usually been on the 1st Tuesday and the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm but are currently suspended until further notice.  Call before coming to be sure the walk has not been canceled.
