2nd Annual "Ease on Down Thurston Road" was a HUGE success!

Thanks to spectacular weather, outstanding musicians and friendly neighbors and merchants, the 2nd Annual "Ease on Down Thurston Road - and Arnett around the corner" was an amazing day!  Music, music, music - from jazz at Holley's, to the Blues at the Thurston Bar and Grill, and on down to the SWAN Community Band at the Rochester Presbyterian Home.  Along with the music, there were activities for young people at the Southwest Y on Thurston and at the Arnett Branch Library.  Crime Prevention…See More

Free Trees from the City

The Inglewood Drive Block Club has been working on a neighborhood beautification project getting free trees from the city for those homes that don't have trees in their subway/tree lawn. Trees really improve the appearances and value of homes. I've been able to get 8 people on Inglewood Drive and Roxborough Rd. to sign forms to have trees planted in the Fall. I have an authorization form made up for residents to sign and allow our block club to act on their behalf with the city in obtaining…See More
