It is important for those of us working with students who are not succeeding in their current RCSD school environments to attend and hear what alternatives are being proposed and learn whether…See More

Excellent point, DeWain.  I assume people are thinking some combination of grants, City, provider, and maybe U of R monies will pay for this.  Unknown.  It is worth investigating, but over the years, that certainly adds up.

It is absolutely essential that we consider how the operational costs would be paid for.  The biggest cost of a municipal Wi-Fi system is not the capital costs of the hardware (wireless access points and fiber optics that provide the backhaul…

Brooks Landing Diner

I stopped for Breakfast this morning at the Brooks Landing Diner - it's located on Genesee Street in a small strip mall where the fish shop was previously located.I was greeted by the friendly owner who was the only one working. The tables were empty so I got to choose where to sit. Service was decent and the food was good too! Less than $5 for scrambled eggs, well done homefries, toast and OJ. The owner tells me she spent a fair amount of money rehabing the place and she's worried about…See More
